    Grateful: Day 29, Friendly Skies and Family

    It’s been a long, exhausting day and tomorrow will make it all worthwhile. We took an early flight this morning so that I could get to my momma’s house and for the big day. Today, I’ve been helping my mom in the kitchen as much as she’ll let me and she’s been helping me with my life. Moms do that. I’ve learned to just listen because there is always something to learn from her stories and sometimes just listening to her wisdom and experience works wonders for my world.     Grateful: Day 24 & 25 Sunshine and Cleanliness

    Yesterday, was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and I had the opportunity to bask in it. I took a walk. I smelled the fresh air. I stopped and took pictures of fallen leaves. It’s been a nice break from the freezing temperatures and I’m blessed that I had  a chance to soak it in. Today, I cleaned. I spent a full day cleaning my house from top to bottom. I am exhausted, but it felt good. It’s been months since I’ve done that. I pushed the vacuum, and the broom. I demolished the dust and annihilated disorder.
