Spaghetti Light

Angel Hair is my favorite variety of pasta. It’s just so delicate and light in my mouth. I can really savor those fine noodles. The name itself goes a long way in earning my favor as well – “angel hair.” So precious and delicious.

It doesn’t take much to dress it up. So, with that in mind I’ve gotten in the habit of using a rather light meat sauce to top it.
It starts with ground chicken, onions and bell peppers sauteed together in a pan. Mushrooms fit right in the mix. If seasoned well enough, there really isn’t a need for any sauce at all.
The pasta is a perfect backdrop for this simple meat sauce. The flavors seep right into the pasta. It’s rather guilt-free and “lite” for a pasta. I’ll call it Pure Pasta.
Yeah. I like that.
If you so desire, you can add some pre-made Alfredo sauce, but it’s much more delicate without it. The way an Angel’s hair should be.
