Chicken Wings (Baked)
I wanted some friend chicken wings the other night. But, since frying is a rare occurrence in my house, I didn’t have any grease. I could have gone to Kroger to buy some more, but I couldn’t justify making a special trip for the artery clogger. I had to improvise. I chose instead to season the wings really well with lemon pepper and broil them in the oven until the skin was crisp. Not fried, but still tasty. Magnificent Mac
The other night I made a macaroni-n-cheese so good it made my knees buckle. And to think. I used to be insecure about my mac-n-cheese. It always came out pretty standard. This was a disappointment because I’d tasted other more succulent, rich and creamy varieties and tried all the earthly ways I could think of. I suppose I wasn’t thinking hard enough. Ladies Night
Partying like it’s 1999! And I’m not just saying that. I’m a bonafide member of the c/o ’99. That’s the year I graduated from high school and entered the world of higher education, freedom, parties and well…liberating experiences. I had a flashback to those good times this weekend at the Classic*. My alma mater, FAMU, represented well. The band and the team both left TSU feeling like a step child.
