Baby steps

See these precious little feet?

I took this picture on a hayride last month. I coordinate actitives for the children of my church and there we were hitched to the back of a tractor traiilor rolling through a Christmas tree farm.

I took many pictures that day but this is my favorite. Something about their tiny little feet spoke to me. It’s a beautiful image and made me think about something my pastor often says “baby steps.”  It’s a simple concept but it’s so profound. Sometimes you can see where you want to go, have an idea about who you would like to be… but it all takes time and the most important part  is taking the step, even if it’s a baby one.
